Globalization of infectious diseases
According to the dictionary , the infectious diseases are “Deviation from the normal structure or function of any body part, organ, or system that is manifested by a characteristic set of symptoms and signs.” The infectious diseases are produced by the globalization which is the entire cultural, technologic and postmodern phenomenon that the society confronts. These events promote the worldwide competition between marketing, economies, personal abilities and technology. The fact of the globalization begins around 1492 with the colonization and in the 90’s becomes famous with advertising and internet which was the most important tool of communication.
Globalization of infectious diseases are influenced by marketing, economies, personal abilities and technology. In marketing, the sales need to increase every day with innovated, cheaper and excellent quality products. In this case, this activity promotes a dynamic economy where it is possible to see an increase or a decrease in the market extension. For that reason, it is essential to have different abilities (interpersonal and intrapersonal) developed. For example, leadership, good relationships, emotional intelligence, creativity, to work under pressure and learn different languages. In fact the technology will be a promoter of change because nowadays is the principal instrument used in diverse areas. For example, if a person on a organization get infected by a danger illness in some other country and as a consequence he or she infects the family and work partners the company will be affected and the sales are going to came down. The infectious diseases can be a social instability in multiple fields.
The transmissions of infectious diseases are the population growth, poor health education, global wars. One of the principal problems is the population growth because this event produces an increase of basic needs. If the necessities rise, people don’t have the enough money to cover a good education. For that reason, the poor health education appears and as a consequence is easier that the illnesses spread around the world. Especially if this situation happens in countries in difficult circumstances as wars. The entire social troubles produce uncontrolled infectious diseases. CONCLUDNG SENTENCES
Some examples of infectious diseases are HIV, dengue, asthma and swine flu. The countries with the highest number of cases Of Aids were Africa, the Caribbean and Asia. First it was related only with homosexuals but later the percentage of heterosexual people with this disease enhances every day. In the case of dengue it transmits with an intermediary agent. The place more affected with this disease is the Caribbean. Asthma is one of the most dangerous respiratory problems because people have repetitive drowning. And, last but no least, the swine flu is transmitted with a intermediary agent as well but this agent has direct contact with pigs and domestic fowl and at the end this people spread the virus to others. Those are the most common infections in the society.
It’s important to be careful with infectious diseases because the people can prevent the spread of the illnesses. The information in different communication media is helpful to stop this phenomenon. If the globalization promote widen of infectious diseases it can transmit the necessary information to avoid the problem.
